`Editing resume matching strategy`

&#x20;*Just try in chat with SIA -*

Include a criteria on this candidate application question - “Please rate your level of fluency in English“ . Possible options are Fluent/Native, Proficient, Intermediate, Beginner.

Once you are done editing you resume matching strategy, click Approve to launch new resume matching strategy.

*Configure AI-Prescreening Agent in your workflow*

AI Prescreening Agent allows us to design, review, and customize the pre-screening questionnaire before it interacts with candidates via a chat interface. We can define how questions are structured, scored, and delivered - ensuring relevant candidates move ahead in our hiring pipeline.

Access the Interview Agent : Navigate to Workflow Review (Final Review) page by clicking configure icon on active or draft workflow, you would like to configure the pre-screening agent for. Under AI Prescreening, click Configure to open the Prescreening Agent settings.

A setup pop-up will appear with five prescreening setup options. Once we choose the preferred method, we’re redirected to the Prescreening Configuration page.

Choose How You Want to Build It: When configuring AI Prescreening, we can select the setup method that best fits our hiring needs. We can -

Quick Start Using Job Description - Automatically generate prescreening questions using details from the job description. This is ideal when we want a structured screening flow with minimal manual effort.

Use Prebuilt Templates - Select from curated, role-specific prescreening templates created earlier.

Select Categories - Generate questions by selecting specific evaluation categories. This allows us to customize the screening based on the competencies we want to assess.

Generate with AI - Provide our own instructions or paste custom questions. AI can refine and structure them into a cohesive prescreening flow.

Upload Sheet - Upload a spreadsheet file (.xls or .xlsx up to 5MB) to generate prescreening questions from structured data. You can download the sample template after clicking this option

This flexibility allows us to move quickly when needed or customize deeply when the role requires it.

Start with the Basics : At the top of the Prescreening Configuration page, we set the core controls.

Attempts - We define the maximum number of times a candidate can complete the prescreening.

Language Selection - We choose the language in which the prescreening will be conducted.

Configure (Delivery Setup) - This opens the Delivery Setup panel, where we manage how prescreening invitations are sent, either by Email or SMS.

This step ensures the screening process aligns with our timeline and communication preferences.

Shape the Screening Experience: Next, we review how the Prescreening chat interacts with candidates.

The Greeting Message: This is the welcome message shown at the start of the prescreening. We can edit it using the edit icon and customize the tone and messaging as needed. This sets the tone for the interaction and ensures the experience feels professional and aligned with our employer brand.

Review and Configure the Questions: All prescreening questions are displayed in sequence. From here, we can review and adjust them to match our evaluation criteria. There are three question types available:

* Single Choice – The candidate selects one option.
* Multiple Choice – The candidate selects multiple options.
* Free Text – The candidate provides a written response.

For each question, we can configure additional settings.

Disqualifier Toggle : When enabled, specific answers can automatically disqualify a candidate based on predefined criteria.

Enable Scoring: We can assign point values to each answer option. Each option can carry a different score, allowing us to rank candidates based on predefined standards. We can also:

* Add new answer options
* Delete existing options
* Adjust scoring values
* Reorder questions
* Add new questions using the "+ Add Question" button

Configure the Ending Messages : At the end of the Prescreening chat, we define what candidates see once they complete the process.

We can customize:

* Qualified Message
* Disqualified Message

These messages are shown after completion and can be edited using the edit icon at the top of the section. We ensure the tone remains clear, respectful, and aligned with the overall candidate experience.

Decide How Candidates Receive It (Delivery Setup) : Clicking Configure at the top of the page opens the Delivery Setup panel. Here, we define how prescreening invitations are sent to candidates. We can enable:

* Email
* SMS

For both delivery channels, we can:

* Preview the message within the panel
* Edit the content manually
* Use AI-assisted rewriting to refine tone and branding consistency

This allows us to maintain communication standards while ensuring clarity for candidates.

When Everything Looks Right : Once we’ve reviewed the setup method, questions, scoring logic, messages, and delivery configuration, we click Approve to save the settings.

If the workflow is already active, any updates will automatically apply to new candidates moving forward.

At that point, AI Prescreening is fully configured — automatically filtering, scoring, and routing candidates efficiently within our hiring workflow before they proceed to the interview stage.

### *Configure Interview Agent in your workflow* <a href="#h_e33c360651" id="h_e33c360651"></a>

The Interview Agent allows you to review and customize the AI interview experience before it is used to assess candidates. For each job, Senseloaf automatically generates a few role-specific interview questions, which can be reviewed and refined as needed.

Access the Interview Agent : Navigate to Workflow Review (Final Review) page by clicking configure icon on active or draft workflow, you would like to configure the interview agent for. Under AI Interview, click Configure to open the Interview Agent settings.\

From here, you can review and customize the interview template, conversation flow, governance settings, and delivery options.

Interview Template Settings : At the top of the Interview Template screen, you can configure high-level interview controls:

* Interview Type: Supports Fixed Interview questions by default. More loading...
* Attempts: Define times candidate can attempt the interview.
* Completion Window: Set the time limit within which candidates must complete the interview (for example, within 7 days).
* Language: Select the language in which the interview will be conducted.

Setup Candidate Experience : Next, we review how the Interview Agent (SIA) speaks to candidates throughout the interaction.

* Greeting (The Welcome Message) - This is what SIA says at the beginning of the interview, setting the tone for the conversation. We review the wording and adjust it if needed to reflect our tone and employer brand. We can also use the Rewrite option to refine it while keeping the message intent intact. Since this is the candidate’s first interaction with the agent, we make sure it feels professional and welcoming.
* Ending ( The Closing Message) - This is how SIA concludes the interview once all questions are completed. We confirm the message feels clear, respectful, and aligned with our hiring experience, ensuring candidates leave the interaction with a positive and professional impression

Finetune Interview Questions : The Interview Agent pre-generates five questions based on the job role and evaluation criteria. You can use chat with system to:

* Modify or rephrase questions
* Add new ones
* Remove any unnecessary questions
* Adjust the focus or depth of evaluation

Since the system gives us a solid starting point, this step is usually about fine-tuning rather than rebuilding. If we want to steer the interview in a specific direction, we simply give instructions and adjust accordingly.

&#x20;*Just try in chat with SIA -*

*Include a situational question where the candidate had to influence others or resolve conflict. Ask them to explain the context, approach, and outcome.*

*Add a behavioral question asking the candidate to describe a challenging or failed project. Require them to explain what happened, what decisions they made, what they learned, and how they improved afterward.*

Interview AI Governance : To ensure interview quality, fairness, and compliance, you can manage the following controls:

* Guardrails: Enable or disable guardrails to keep conversations on track and aligned with the interview objectives.
* Proctoring Settings: Enable or disable proctoring to help maintain assessment integrity and fairness.

Each option includes a View button to review the applied rules before activation.

Delivery Setup (How Candidates Receive the Invitation) : This section controls how interview invitations and reminders are sent to candidates.

* Invitation Email - Review or Edit the draft interview invitation email sent to candidates. You can preview and rewrite the content to match your employer branding and communication style.
* Follow-up Reminders - Choose how often reminder emails are sent to candidates who have not completed the interview (for example, sending 1,2 or 3 reminder(s)).

Approve & Activate : Once all configurations are reviewed and finalized, click "Approve" button to save the Interview Agent settings.

If the workflow is already active, the updated configuration will apply automatically to new candidates.

With the Interview Agent configured, Senseloaf can seamlessly conduct AI-driven interviews and deliver structured interview evaluations directly into your hiring workflow.

In case the workflow is already active, any updates automatically apply to new candidates moving forward.

### How Senseloaf Updates Appear in Lever <a href="#h_c3a6df7167" id="h_c3a6df7167"></a>

When our AI agents — Resume Matching, AI Prescreening, and AI Interview — are triggered and completed, structured updates automatically sync to Lever at each step based on configuration.

These updates appear directly within the candidate profile across Stages, Tags, Notes, and Forms. Everything stays inside your existing Lever workflow, so there’s no need to switch platforms or manually transfer information.

This significantly reduces operational overhead — instead of logging into SIA to review results, recruiters can stay in Lever and see everything reflected there.

It all happens in the background, giving you real-time visibility without extra effort.

### How Candidate Stages Update Automatically <a href="#h_1b4c3e037f" id="h_1b4c3e037f"></a>

As soon as an AI agent is triggered, the candidate is moved to the relevant stage in Lever. When results are generated, stage updates reflect the candidate’s progression.

For example, stages may update to:

* Top Match
* Mid Match
* AI Prescreening – Engaged
* AI Prescreening – Knockout
* AI Interview

A strong resume match may move a candidate forward, while a prescreening knockout may automatically move them to a disqualified stage. These movements happen automatically, so recruiters always have an accurate view of where each candidate stands — without manually updating stages.

### How Tags Help You Spot Quality Quickly <a href="#h_6a80d770b2" id="h_6a80d770b2"></a>

After Resume Matching is completed, tags are automatically added to the candidate profile.

These tags reflect the candidate’s match level and make it easy to scan the applicant list without opening each profile.

For example, tags may include:

* Prime Fit
* Strong Fit
* Moderate Fit
* Needs Review
* Not Aligned

Tags update immediately once Resume Matching finishes.

Note: Tags are based on Resume Matching results. Prescreening and Interview outcomes are reflected primarily through stage updates, notes, and forms.

### Where You’ll See AI Evaluation Notes <a href="#h_bd6989ed6c" id="h_bd6989ed6c"></a>

Once an AI agent completes its evaluation, a structured note is automatically added to the candidate’s Lever profile. Each note follows a consistent format so it’s easy to review.

Example Note Structure

Title:

SIA Candidate Evaluation Report

Includes:

* Overall Score (e.g., XX/100)
* A summary of alignment with the role
* Key strengths and observations
* A link to the full detailed report in the SIA platform

This allows recruiters to quickly review insights directly within Lever, while still having access to deeper analysis when needed.

### How Evaluation Forms Are Added <a href="#h_168ecda1f3" id="h_168ecda1f3"></a>

Along with notes, a structured evaluation form is automatically added under the Forms section in Lever.

These forms reflect the AI-generated grading and keep assessments standardized across the team.

For example, form options may include:

* Prime Fit
* Strong Fit
* Moderate Fit
* Needs Review
* Not Aligned
* Knockout (for prescreening, if applicable)

This makes it easy to filter, compare, and report on candidate quality — all without leaving Lever.

### You Can Customize the Labels <a href="#h_6ddd9d0fdd" id="h_6ddd9d0fdd"></a>

All stage names, tags, form titles, grading labels, and note headers are configurable.

You can align everything with your internal hiring terminology inside Lever. Because of this, what you see in your Lever instance may differ slightly from the examples shown here.

## Shortlist Candidates <a href="#h_f5365a687e" id="h_f5365a687e"></a>

Once you shortlist candidates here, Senseloaf automatically moves the candidates in Lever to the Shortlisted stage, which can be configured during integration setup.

You can either bulk shortlist candidates and move them individually, as shown below.

`Shortlist Individual Candidate`

`Bulk Shortlist Candidates`

`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.
