SIA for Google Documents
Fill in your own templates and create candidate documents, without retyping the same fields every time
Most hiring teams already have the documents they need — offer letter templates, interview scorecards, client submission forms, sitting in Google Docs. What eats up time isn't writing these from scratch, it's duplicating the template and manually editing the same handful of fields every single time.
Connecting Google Docs lets SIA fill in your own templates, keeping your formatting and wording your legal team signed off on and write up candidate briefs and interview summaries as properly formatted documents instead of plain text in chat.
Connecting Google Docs

In Chat, open Connectors from the sidebar
Find the Google Docs card and click Connect Google Docs
A Google sign-in tab opens — sign in with the account that owns or can access the documents you want SIA to work with
Review the permissions shown — this covers Docs access only — and click Allow
You're redirected back to Chat and the card now reads Connected
What you can do once connected
Once Google Docs is connected, SIA can read and write documents on your behalf:
Fill in your own template with a candidate's real data — point SIA at an offer letter, scorecard, or submission form you already use and it produces a new, filled-in document keeping your formatting intact
Tell you what a template expects — if you're unsure what placeholders a template uses, or whether all of them got filled, SIA can check and tell you
Write a candidate brief or interview summary as a real document — with headings, bullet lists, and tables, ready to forward as-is rather than a block of plain text
Add to a document your team already keeps — instead of creating another copy, SIA can append new content (such as today's interview notes) to a document your panel is already using
Read a document where structure matters — like a scorecard grid or a levelling matrix and use that structure when answering questions or filling in other documents
Try it in SIA chat
